  1. This is a GREAT list! Some ideas on here I hadn’t thought of before.

  2. Dawn Bennett says

I LOVE that you included touch in your top 5. Most people really do love to connect that way. I have been working on a book about the importance of touch and connection, and so many studies show how it increases trust and collaboration. Nice job!

    • Dawn,

That’s great to know that studies support it. Often we shy away from it in a professional setting, but you can still use touch appropriately to connect with people.

  3. These are great ideas! I like how simple and easy some of them are. Thanks for curating this list.

  4. What a great list! I especially love giving them your undivided attention. It seems obvious, but in this high speed world it’s nit always easy tondo. Thanks for the reminder.

    • Jess,
It’s true. Undivided attention is becoming more and more rare. People appreciate it. It makes them feel valued.

  5. What a great list, Deb! While I was reading it I was reminded of how much I appreciated people doing those kinds of things to keep in touch with me. One year my realtor dropped off pumpkins at my front door for my son and me to carve. That was probably at least 10 years ago but I still remember it.

Thank you for the wonderful list of ideas.

    • Julie,
What a great story. The fact that you remember what your realtor did, means you also remember your realtor – even 10 years later. That is valuable relationship marketing!
