Why loyalty matters.

Think of someone or something you are loyal to. It could be a person, a business, a team, an alma mater, a religion, or a political party. If someone were to ask you about your experience with the thing you are loyal to, you would probably enthusiastically rave about it. You would have lots of glowing recommendations as to why you think it is the best. If someone challenged you because they had a different experience or a different opinion, you would most likely defend that thing or person passionately. Does this help you determine why loyalty matters?

why loyalty mattersChip Bell, a customer loyalty consultant, says, “Loyal customers, they don’t just come back, they don’t simply recommend you, they insist that their friends do business with you.” The reason why loyalty matters when it comes to referrals, is that your customers will refer their friends to you. Referrals help your business grow better than any marketing tactic out there. Loyal customers are your best advocates. They will not only share you with their associates, but they will defend you if they ever hear anything negative about you.

Why loyalty matters with clients, is because loyal clients stay with you longer. According to socialannex.com, a 5% increase in customer retention can increase business profits by 25% – 125%.   Increasing loyalty just a little bit will keep your clients with you longer and increase your profits significantly.

Loyalty matters. It makes your business more profitable and more enjoyable. Who doesn’t like spending their days with people who adore them? That’s what happens when you work with loyal clients.
